Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Bowlerswap is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of bowling gear. We are not a party to any transaction. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, condition of items, and fulfillment. Buyers are responsible for evaluating items and completing payment with the seller directly.

Listings may be reviewed and must be approved before going live. We may remove, reject, or hide listings at our discretion, including for prohibited items, suspected fraud, or rule violations.

You agree not to:

• List stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented items.
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users.
• Scrape, crawl, or copy listings, user data, or messages.
• Use the Service to spam other users via the contact system.
• Circumvent listing approval, rate limits, or other safety controls.

The Bowlerswap name, logo, wordmark, tagline ("Built by a Bowler, for Bowlers"), visual design, and all related marks are trademarks of Bowlerswap. The Service — including code, copy, images, and design — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not: copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or display the Bowlerswap logo, wordmark, or branding; use Bowlerswap marks in your own product, service, domain name, social handle, or marketing; create derivative logos or marks that imitate Bowlerswap; or use our branding in any way that implies endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our prior written permission.

Editorial mentions (news coverage, reviews, blog posts) referencing Bowlerswap by name are permitted. See our Brand Guidelines for approved use and contact support@bowlerswap.com for permission requests.

You retain ownership of content you post (listing text, photos, profile info, messages). You grant Bowlerswap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Bowlerswap is a venue that connects buyers and sellers and is not a party to any transaction. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, or legality of listings; the truth or accuracy of user profiles; the ability of sellers to sell items; the ability of buyers to pay for items; or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction.

Inspect items and verify the other party before sending payment. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bowlerswap and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, losses or damages resulting from:

• transactions between users, including non-payment, non-delivery, or items not as described;
• fraudulent, misleading, or impersonating accounts or listings;
• theft, loss, or damage to items during shipping or in-person handoff;
• disputes between users, including chargebacks and refund requests;
• unauthorized access to your account or content;
• service interruptions, data loss, or errors in the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold Bowlerswap harmless from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys' fees — made by a third party arising out of your use of the Service, your listings or content, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or risk to the community. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
